Advocate!
Advocating for individuals with disabilities is a powerful way to support our clients. We encourage friends, families, and community members to join the advocacy process and raise awareness of the challenges and needs individuals face. The most impactful advocacy often begins with your story—whether you are directly affected or a supportive ally.

Share Your Story
Personal stories help decision-makers understand the real-world impact of policy and funding. When you write or speak to an official, consider including:
- Your issue — the topic or barrier you’re addressing.
- How it affects you or your loved one / community.
- How proper supports would help change daily life and outcomes.
- Current struggles without these supports.
- Why you’re sharing this with your government official.
- What you hope will change in the future.
