Our Employment Services helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their employment goals. If those goals are within our walls or in a community setting, our employment services can help build the skills that each individual needs. Clients can build their skills by participating in one of our unique work experiences. While doing this each person is providing a vital and valuable contribution to their community.
Encore Thrift Store
Encore Thrift Store is a resale retail shop that accepts and sells new and gently used articles of clothing for all ages, housewares, furniture, tools, athletic items, toys, home decor, linens, craft items, purses and shoes.
Clients who work in the store get simultaneous job training and employment. Clients are able to earn wages, learn vocational skills, and build lasting and meaningful social relationships with our customers.

Encore Sort
Encore Sort Program is the backbone of our organization — the support for Encore Thrift Store. Each client performs the tasks that best fit their skills and learning goals.

Janitorial Services
Janitorial Services provides the opportunity for our clients to learn housekeeping skills. Individuals in this program can work from 2:30–4:30, 3 days a week learning janitorial skills under the direction of a supervisor.
Garden Showcase Services
Our Garden Showcase Program provides opportunity for individuals to learn lawn and landscape maintenance. We provide direct learning experiences and employment through maintenance and landscaping of the City of Clinton’s Mr. Lincoln Square and several private contracts.
Confidential Shred Services
Our Confidential Shred Services provide secure document destruction. Clients learn and perform shredding, sorting, and recycling tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
